why will the effect save

Why can I not save a effect on a photo , when I save it , it saves it as original and yes I have looked for the effect photo it is not there. Help this is not what I want.

Hi KelvinBR,
By default SPE adds a _pe to the file name, so the original image is not overwritten. Also you might not have saved the file to the same place as the original file. When saving, check to see where the file is being saved to.
