add effects on a new layer

Is it possible to save the applied effect on a seperate layer if desired?

Each change you make to your image appears as a tab at the top of the screen. Each of these is similar to a photoshop layer. They are all non destructive, so you can delete them (by hovering over the tab and pressing the x). You can create a new mask for an effect by clicking on the Mask Area button when the effect is selected, and edit existing masks by clicking on black and white preview of the mask in the tabs on the top.
