Screencapture software

Im searching for a good screen capture program that saves the output to a video format, I prefer freeware or shareware.. Anyone has a positive experience with one?
I like to make some tutorial videos from effects I created for SPE.

Hi Arwin,

The one we often use is CamStudio. Also the Lagarith lossless video codec works well with CamStudio if you want to capture the best quality. Both are opensource/free.
