Screen color is not as good as Portrait Professionnel

Postby Julian2 » Sun Oct 13, 2013 11:18 pm

Screen color is black and dark grey.
Letters are medium grey.
Letters are small.
I use a screen of 1980 * 1200 and in process to purchase a screen of 2540.
My screen is calibrated.
I have difficulties to read the letters.
Why dont you offer, as in Portrait Professionel, the possibility to have a clear backround with strong black letters ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Julian2,

We could certainly offer a more easily readable version if there was a lot of demand for it. Is it something others would be interested in?

Well, I am surprised by your answer: "if there was a lot of demand for it".

Are you unable to realise that it is impossible to read the screens ?

Best regards.

However, the product looks interesting. But due to my remarks, it will be useless for me, particularly on a screen of 2540.

Im using an 24" HP screen (1920*1200), not calibrated, but using Colorchecker Pasport for my camera and the colors looks fine at my side.
No problem at all with the software to read or what so ever.

Suggestion, try to use a lower screen resolution (1920*1200) and see if that fix your problem?

Thanks for your answer.

I use a screen Iiyama ProLine 26 (E2607 WS) of 1920 * 1200.

I am in process to place, in main screen, a 27 of 2540. So, the result will be worst.

Best regards.

Julian.

I agree that the font size would be much better with a. larger b. bold c. different color so it stood out better from the background. We older folks with eyesight issues have difficulty and with the program, to me at least, is a tad more difficult to learn compared to other programs any reading issues just exacerbate the problems. Red, Yellow, Blue all bigger and bold would be most helpful.
