Lost Effects

Why is it that when I use an effect on a photo cofirm and save it, I can never find the same effect several days later. Is it that any effect can only be used once.
Are there video tutorials for the software.

You can use effects any number of times! Rceently used effects can be found in the favourite effects tool in the list on the right. If you want to keep an effect for ever, click 'manage favourites', then you can drag recently used effects into the favourite effects list that is kept for ever.
