printing

I need help to print a picture size 8X10 with .25 inch borders. I am new to this and I am struggling. I can print the picture but it has .75 in borders and .25 in borders

If you are using file/print, then surely the set-up is within the OS and the printer you use. 10x8 is around 20.3 x 25.4 (that was a head calc so excuse if out) you should be able to select borderless or bordered printing within you own OS.
