HELP! How do I properly save images on SPE?

HELP! How do I properly save images on SPE?

After applying effects and saving images in Smart Photo Editor, I realize there are thin black lines showing on the borders of my images. I do not utilize any border effects to any of my images. What's causing this issue?
*Note: I am using images that have been color corrected in Adobe Lr4 and adding effects on SPE.*
