Composite render bug with "remove halo"

Postby MacSa » Tue Dec 18, 2012 10:26 pm

Hi,

I did a fairly simple composite with just one overlay.
The original picture is a 16 bit tiff and the overlay is a JPG file.

When I turn on "remove halo" on the overlay and then save the JPG file the result does not render correctly. Instead of the overlay I only see black areas where the overlay should be.
Obviously some mask is rendered instead of the overlay.

Turning off "remove halo" immedeately fixes the issue.

I can provide picture samples and if really needed the session .pe file (83 Meg though).

Hope that can be fixed soon, as I like the "remove halo" functionality.

Best regards - MacSass

Hi,

Thanks. I've put this in the bug list and will take a look at it. The fix won't make it into the next version which is due out soon, testing permitting, but I should be able to fix it for the version after.

Hi MacSa,

Our tester is busy testing a new release of Portrait Professional, so I've managed to put this bug fix into the next version.
