Newly downloaded it keeps closing due to error

I have had SPE on my laptop for a while now, with no problems. I have recently downloaded it to this new desktop, and when I try to bring in a file (photo) it closes and I get an error message. I did the newest update hoping that would fix it but something else is amiss, as it is still doing that.

Hi vivasews

Could you tell me a few things to help me figure out what's going on?

1. What is the error message you are seeing?
2. Does it happen with any picture you try it with or just one?
