Hi Mel,

Are you on a Mac by any chance? There is a known problem we're invesitgating regarding the Mac not updating the screen properly, which we're looking into.

The problem is to do with updating the screen, zooming in and out again would force an update, and might help.
You could try increasing the milliseconds for inital preview (to say 800) in the settings dialog to see if that helps. That gives the renderer more time to give you a better version of the picture.

Hi,

i am not on a mac, i increased the milliseconds but that didnt help unfortunately.
when it first loads onto the page it is clear but as soon as it has finished loading and i can move/resize etc it goes blurry.

Hi Mel,

If you leave it for a little while, does it become sharp again?

Hi Mel,

If you zoom in and out again, does that fix it? We're in the process of fixing this bug on the Mac. It's conceivable it will fix it on the PC too, but we've not seen it happen on the PC yet. It shouldn't affect any files that you save out.

Hi Melissa,

Have you updated to the newest version (1.18)? Let me know if that doesn't fix it. In the meantime, it should still save the images nice and sharp.
