Crash and saving problems

Please help! I cannot seem to save my session and open it again (the program will crash!).
And every time I try to save as JPEG to use the image anywhere it shows up destroyed (see attachment).

I tried to save it in all variations but nothing works... always filled with black spots....

Ooh obviously the black dots and stripes do not show untill the file is saved...

I found out it has to do with me suplying 16 bit files and saving them as 8 bit??

Because it does show all the nasty black fudge when I uncheck that.
How to fix??
