Can you remember which effect you used for the third picture (paintings)? Gorgeous (as they all are).

Richard, hope this helps (thanks too for your kind comments),

PROCESS

1. Load orginal image

2. Apply Superdave’s ‘Black and white lines’ effect

3. Save result

4. Delete this effect now and return to the original image

5. Now apply the ‘Watercolor vectors’ effect by Penningtons7

6. Adjust so that your original image becomes slightly soft and less defined

7. Now apply ‘Multi colored overlays 030’ by me (andrewb2012)

8. Adjust to suit your requirements (you might need to do a manual edit)

9. Now, using the Composite Feature, apply your previously ‘saved image’ as an overlay

10. Adjust to suit your requirements

Job done!

NOTE: This process does NOT work with all images – some work better than others

Above is the basic process, but I may have used a few other techniques or effects in some of my images here – remember, I was just doodling – not recording what I was doing!

GOOD LUCK – would love to see any of your results.

Cheers,

Andrew

Hi Richard,

You don't know how delighted I am that you have put into practice the instructions I gave you in answer to your question - it makes the effort the effort really worthwhile when I see such an EXPERT use of my ideas as shown in your Stunning first attempt. I hope you enjoy much success in using this technique - you don't have to stick to using ‘Multi colored overlays 030’ by me (andrewb2012) - you could try other effects at this point.

Anyway, I hope you are pleased with your first attempt. Remember, this technique does not always work well, it depends on your original image.

Thanks for trying out the idea and a sincere thank you for posting your result (which is FABULOUS) - well done! Enjoy!

Cheers,

Andrew
