Nice photo, where is the location.....I prefer the b/w....the wake is much stronger....thanx for sharing

Thanks for you constructive and encouraging comments - might resubmit the coloured image to focus more on the wake.

Anyway, in answer to your question. The bridge in the foreground is the World Famous Forth Rail Bridge that crosses the River Forth in Scotland from the south near to Edinburgh and bridges a rather wide gap to reach Fife in the north. Actually, there are now three bridges that are quite close together - one rail and two road bridges (the latest of which has just recently opened). But rather than me telling you about them, you might like to open the following links to learn more, especially the history of the Forth Rail Bridge - there are many links on the Internet regarding these bridges.

I love the bridge image! I don't know why it is, but I always have a strong preference for color, so of course I prefer the colored image here, too. :-)
